-Don't touch your face! You might do this without knowing it, fixing your hair, scratching your nose. Touching your face is a major cause of facial blemishes.
-Greasy foods do NOT contribute to acne, but let's face it, if you eat like a slob your gonna get grease on your face.
-Cut down on hair products(hairspray, gel, mousse, etc.) that come into contact with your face
-Make sure your shower gels, shampoo's and soaps are ';Non-Comodegenic'; which is a fancy way of saying ';oil-free';. Also be careful of shampoos and condidtioners that contain ';Laureth sulfate'; this aggravates your face.
-Change your pillowcase often. Your hair which may be dirty rubs against it, then you roll over and your face rests in it for hours! Shower before bed to ensure you go to bed clean and don't let oil and dirt sit in your pores for the whole night.
-Wash your face after every meal, and when you wash your face, wash your hands first really well. No use in washing your face with dirty hands, even if they don't look it
-Lastly, wash your face as often as possible! Nothing rigorous that might aggravate your face, just a light wash as often as possible, and a good dry.
None of these tips cost any money, if anything, you should end up spending less money. As long as you aren't diagnosed with bad acne, the only reason you have it because you aren't keeping your face clean.,.,.,.,.Hope this helps! What's the best way to treat/prevent acne?
Proactive solution, the best
The best way to maintain your skin is with this formula mix 50% warm pure honey and 50% natural almond oil.Apply 20 minutes before bedtime ,then wash off with warm water.
The natural treatment for acne involves adopting natural lifestyle and using only the natural products. With the herbal mask, you can easily prevent the symptoms associated with this disease like irritation, pain and pus formation. Make a poultice from the leaves of herbs and apply on the problem areas. This will gradually lessen the eruptions and prevents further scarring of the face. You can also make a face pack from the turmeric and almond powders and apply it on the face since turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and kills bacteria. Honey face packs can also reduce acne.
i would say looking online for homemade masks and exfoliating scrubs that you can make to clear up your skin. maybe you need to use a spot treatment like clearasil or the clean and clear stuff. i used a benzol peroxide spot treatment from neutregena at night and that seemed to work pretty well. i like making the different masks that i find online. sometimes they work and sometimes they dont but most of them have worked pretty well. the blackhead strips by biore worked good on my nose too.
Apply slices of tomato on your skin; the pulp of the tomato has astringent properties, which can prevent acne. More home remedies available at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
I have acne and I have tried everything to help it. I used to use proactive, but then I didnt think it was working so I have tried other things as well. I started getting facials, which reeeally started to help, but that can get kinda pricy. Luckily, the woman who did my facials gave me some hlpful advice. First, she reccommended using the Murad kit, which I do now and it is amazing. However, she said that if I did not have enough money, there are some home remedies. She said to wash my face with baking soda three times a day, that should help to remove and dirt. Then, once a week, puree a papaya and use it as a fruit enzyme mask... However, she said leave this on my skin NO MORE THAN thirty seconds because it can burn your skin if you leave it on too long. The point is that the enzymes in fruit help to turn over your skin so that you dont get a build up of dead skin cells. It sounds a bit odd but this lady is great; she really knows what she is talking about. Lastly, she said tthat diet is a huuuge factor. Dairy and tomato products can cause your face to break out, along with other foods, so eat nutritious meals and try to cut out carbonation. Also, wash your pillow cases a real lot, because they hold oils and your skin is touching them many hours every night. I found that to be a big one. I put on a pillow case, use the other side the next night, and then change it. Sounds nuts, but it reaaaly helped. Good luck!!
There is still no way to stop acne completely as of yet, but there are ways to stop it before it starts. One of the ways to stop acne before it starts is by adopting a daily cleansing routine. While acne is not caused by poor hygiene, it is still very important to use a wash cloth or any other material, that will help exfoliate the skin. The reason for this is because too many skin cells can be a contributing factor to acne. Do your cleansing routine twice a day and stay away from moisturizers with oil in them.
When you鈥檙e finished washing your face, use a 2% salicylic acid solution like stridex. What salicylic acid does is remove those excess skin cells that clog the pores and cause acne. If this regimen is followed daily, it will certainly reduce the number of acne breakouts that you will get.
If there is a case, in which the salicylic acid doesn鈥檛 work then use a 5% benzoyl peroxide. Don鈥檛 use any benzoyl peroxide that is over 5% because it will cause severely dry skin. The 5% benzoyl peroxide is a strong enough solution to stop acne without causing excessive dry skin or irritating the skin. If you don鈥檛 want to use benzoyl peroxide, an alternative is tea tree oil which has been proven to be just as effective as benzoyl peroxide.
The final step to this regimen is to use oil free sunscreen to protect your skin before going outside. Of all the steps mentioned, this is the most important one. Sunlight can not only damage and irritate the skin but it has also been a leading cause for skin cancer. When skin is damaged, the chances of developing acne increases.
For this regimen to work, you must do it daily, regardless of whether you have acne or not. When you exfoliate the skin by using salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and sun screen, you鈥檙e chances of developing acne are extremely low.
There are numerous alternatives to treating acne, but the effectiveness of them greatly differ. Prescribed acne medications like, Retin-A and Accutane can help slow down the acne process. Retin-A can be used without causing side effects and it also helps to reduce wrinkles and lines in the face.
good luck...
bye!
You should try placing cucumbers on your faces--its great for blackheads and pimples (it acts a a toner). Also be sure to wash your face morning and night with a mild soap/cleanser. If you do this, I think your skin will be back to normal by then. Check out http://www.realhomeremedies.com for more acne remedies and tips.
