What can I do to treat acne blemishes. Something that is affordable please?

I have blemishes like on the bottom of my face and where my cheeks are. i have used coco butter the kind and shea butter the pure kind also but I don't really think that it works what can I use. please someone tell meWhat can I do to treat acne blemishes. Something that is affordable please?
use a blackhead clearing scrub like from clean and clear with salycilic acid (sp?). use it daily (once a day, otherwise it will dry out ur face.)

at night, do spot treatment with an acne cream, with benzoyl peroxide or salycilic acid to reduce redness and usually it will be gone in a few days, if not the next day.

this is what i do, and its been working so far. What can I do to treat acne blemishes. Something that is affordable please?
I had bad acne since was 12. The only thing that worked for me was natures cure. You can get it at the drugstore.
you can use tooth paste or mouthwash because it gets rid of bacteria that makes pimples and it my sting a little but mostly if you use minty toothpaste. i put it on at night so i can sleep and knoe that my pimples are going away!!!!!!!!
Hey! Who likes acne, pimples and to add more to the misery - blemishes! I think u've used a wrong cream. U should try the tea tree oil anti blemish solution. It works for these 3 types of annoying skin problem (acne, blemishes and pimples) plus...it's affordable. If you can't find it in the market, you should also try Blackmores庐 anti blemish gel. It works!
wash your face regularly
use an anti bacterial facial soap.
have u tried maderma. i donno if i spelled it right but i think it gets rid of blemishes and stuff. u should look it up.

well, firstly, exercise is key to healthy skin. It may not seem that sweating and getting gross is a good way to clear pores, but it gets rid of a lot of the toxins and actually clears you up. If you are exercising and still having problems, seeing a dermatologist is a great way to get opinions and medications for skin treatment. And if you can't go to a dermatologist, I suggest you find something in a convenience store that has benzoyl proxide in it and use that on your skin. The coco butter that you mentioned sounds like its thick and might actually be clogging your pores.
I'm not a dermatologist, but putting coco butter on already oily skin doesn't make much sense to me. Most acne is caused by blocked pours and coco butter would likely just block your pours even more.

If you have medical insurance my advice is to get serious and see a dermatologist or even your general practioner and ask for some perscription help. Back when I was a teenager my dermatologist perscribed Retin-A. It worked like you wouldn't believe. It took me a long time to finish up each tube, so it wasn't very expensive. Also most insurance plans cover Retin-A and similar drugs, so it will likely be cheaper than buying over the counter stuff.

If you don't want to see the doctor then buy some over the counter acne medication such as Oxy or Stridex and wash your face at least twice a day. Remember the idea is to dry up those oil pours and keep the dirt out.

One more thing...don't touch your face. Your hands have natural oil on them...so every time you touch your face your adding more oil onto it.

Seriously...see the doctor if it is at all possible...you won't be sorry you did.
apply lemon juice mixed with honey.

Why are you putting oil on blemishes?!?!?!?! You are adding to the problem. You need to get the oil off your face. Use a good face wash and some acne medicine - with benzoyle peroxide / saliyic acid. Stop putting lotion on your face, it only clogs up your pores and makes it worse.
Go to www.cosmeticscop.com and on her website she reviews products and you can find out alot about your skin type. My skin looks so much better since I've started following her skin care advice! Treat your acne with benzoyl peroxide blemish cream, but make sure you clean your face with a gentle, unscented cleanser like Cetaphil, which is at grocery stores and is really inexpensive. The blemish cream does not have to be expensive; there are alot of good ones out there that give a good bang for the buck. Research on the website before you spend, and buy wisely. Good luck--there's nothing like flawless skin!
