Does Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash treat acne well?

So i just bought the neutrogena oil free acne wash (the orange one, the gel cleanser) and i have kind of severe acne... will it treat it and help prevent acne more?Does Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash treat acne well?
It'll only help mild acne... for bad acne, Clearasil is the way to go. I use the daily facial wash every day, and the pore scrub a few times a week. Also, don't forget to moisturize, as most acne is caused by dried out, overwashed skin.

EDIT:

don't get proactiv it sucks.Does Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash treat acne well?
i have the gel cleanser, i've heard really good things about it but they were all on the other one that wasn't a gel. like the liquidy cleanser with the pump.

it dries out your skin but that's how it gets rid of the oils that cause acne. i used to a really long time ago and doesn't exactly remember. it didn't get rid of my acne but it prevented any other acne from coming up. so as your acne goes away by itself no other acne will come up.

you have to be committed to it though and make sure you use a really good lotion on your face.
i used it and yea it definitely decreases the oiliness of the skin, but it is not going to treat acne especially if it is severe. You should go to your dermatologist even though it might cost more this is if you want to treat it.
No, in fact some times can affect your skin more if you want to really clean your face of acne get Proactive it works bets product ever
yes it helps to clear your skin get in better shape but if you have severe acne I have the best acne medicine wait a 15 minutes
It doesn't get rid of acne but it help reduce the redness and oiliness.
