How to treat acne?

I've had acne for a year now. I used to have some blemishes before, but then my doctor subscribed me Evoclin to treat them. Evoclin works sooo well.

But now he does not provide Evoclin for me anymore. And my face is a mess. I tried lots of things. Please helpHow to treat acne?
You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

Try washing your face with a gentle soap like dove or something. DONT wash your face with a washcloth or scrub it really hard, I did that for a long time not realizing it only made things worse. Dont use really hot water either. This alone helped my face quite a bit. The first dermatologist I went to didnt say anything about it so I didnt know if your doctor told you or not.
If your doctor won't provide you with the proper medicine and refuses to treat your ailment, you need to find a new doctor ASAP.

You can also try calling this doctor and letting him know that you are still having problems and that you want to go back on this medication. If he still refuses, let the office know that you will be finding another doctor (don't threaten until after he refuses).

If its REALLY bad theres a new pill caled Acutane (i think thats how you spell it). It has to be prescribed though so go to a doctor. Otherwise toothpaste works on randomn zits.
If you have the money you could try proactiv it really does help get rid of the acne and clears up your skin. I use it and it helps me with my acne.
