This seems to be a question that nobody can answer so far... My recruiter doesn't know neither does the Chief in my district of recruiting. Do they allow face wash in boot camp if I bring it? If not, will they treat my condition? I'm going AIRR and am very excited. Will the US Navy treat acne in boot camp?
When I joined they took away my face wash when I reported to boot camp but I was allowed to purchase more of it at the Navy Exchange on base the next day. So to answer your question yes they will allow you to treat your acne in boot camp with a face wash, you just might have to buy it at the Exchange. It does not cost anything, they will give you a small book of pink exchange money in order to buy shaving cream, razors, toothpaste, soap and all those other things. Will the US Navy treat acne in boot camp?
Acne is a medical condition - not allowing you to treat it with face-wash would be like not letting other people take pills for a medical problem. You will almost certainly be allowed. (if the face-wash isn't allowed - ask your doctor for some antibiotic tablets - this should have the same effect).
no. you can bring nothing with you and no special consideration will be made.
I'm retired from the navy. Answer to your question is YES THE NAVY WILL TREAT THAT CONDITION.
dude whats with that retired navy guy and the capital letters? lol... he must be crazy
