Food does cause me to get acne; i know that there has been researches done that say that food does not cause acne, but to me it does.What is a good diet to treat acne?
The notion that diet doesn't affect acne is utter nonsense. It makes just about as much sense as saying that the quality of fuel does not affect how well your car runs.
The biggest myth in acne is that diet does NOT affect it. Everybody seems to be parroting the same thing. Really a monkey see, monkey do phenomena.
Doctors say that there is no proof that diet affects acne. They are (almost) right. Until recently there hasn't been any research done on the subject.
It's amazing what you don't see when you don't look.
However few researchers have looked into it and they found that diet (blood sugar levels to be more specific) has a direct impact on acne - on acne prone individuals.

Diet is not the only cause, but it's part of the puzzle. That's why not everybody who eats acne causing foods get acne.

There's no 100% foods that cause acne, not for everyone; my dermatologist told me to avoid caffiene (soda, coffee, tea), but that was it. Your personal experience will be different from everyone else's.
Some doctors suggest more fish and less sugars in general, but this (the Perricone diet, for example) can get VERY expensive.
You know that in the normal person diet and acne have nothing to do with each other, and yet you're asking for normal diets that have to do with acne. Forget your complexion. Work on your logic.
You can be allergic to dairy!! Dairy makes some people break out!! Too much oil in food can give you little pimples too! Garlic in food helps to clear your face! Drink plenty of water too. Also, use a mild soap like Dove plain white bar. Harsh soaps and exfoliators can break you out!! Moisturize too with Dove daily moisturizer or Johnson %26amp; Johnson's purpose!! good luck.
