How can we treat acne scars at home?

hi. i've got acne scars too. i'm using AHA revitalising cream 8 (8%) which peels off the skin bit by bit. i use it every nite b4 sleep.





also, every month, i will see my doctor - to apply the same cream but its 30% or 50% concentration. you need a doc for this coz you have to 'neutralise' it after 2-3 mins only. otherwise your skin will itch like crazy and turn super red.





8% - stings abit, for a few mins only. if you use it after sometime, you wont feel it, but my doc says it doesnt mean its not working, just that your skin is more used to it so you no longer feel the sting.


30% or 50% - it stings alot but if you do it every month, you'll get used to it. you can really see your skin peeling. its like when u get a burn on your hand or something. but next day, it will dry and peel off. your skin cannot be exposed to the sun for 2 -3 days after the treatment though.





the cream works for me, but thing is i keep getting new ance so i keep doing the peels. if your scar is not so bad, it'll only take 2-3 months (and constant peeling) for it to dissapear. i cant remember what brand the cream is. i think its 'oceanic' brand. its a small red/pink color bottle.
