Um well it's more for blackheads that acne but I got retin-a-micro... Just as indicated on the info, it works nicely at first, skin gets worse for about a month, then it clears up nicely afterwards. But it does give excessive dryness and sensivity. So if you go that way, don't forget you need a heavy moisturizer and very good sunscreen. I work in a drugstore and the med that I saw that was most effective for really bad cystic acne was Accutane. Takes about two months to do its job.
