Look, no one is perfect. Granted, genes make some people look like pepperoni pizzas whilst other look like they stepped off the cover of ';Vogue';, but its not your fault you have pimples. Always remember your true friends don't care what you look like, and that inner beauty is more important, whether your a girl or guy. There's a site for young girls; www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 , but it has great tips on there that can work for anyone.

Check your habits. Do you prop up your chin with your hands? Thats asking for chin zits. Clean your specs often so you won't get pimples on the bridge of your nose.

Don't pop them! If you want them to go away, make a paste of baking soda and water and dab it on the zit, then go to sleep. In the morning it should be dried up. Also, toothpaste or honey works for some people, but its not recommended.

Every other day, use normal table salt and water to wash your face. The salt will scratch the dead skin off your face, and help prevent pimples. Don't scrub too hard, or it'll hurt.

My brother gets zits all the time, so I'm somewhat of an 'expert', lol! Let me know if it works and if you need more help! What stuff can i use from the kitchen at home to treat my acne?
A dermatologist got me to use ten parts salt to one part calamine. I had to get it made up at the chemist ( cause it needed to be transfused together). Painted my face with the stuff before bed each night. Worked wonders !

I refused to take roactane.... figured if it could harm unborn babies in women , i wasn't taking it. Asked the doctor what Nana would have used and that's what he came up with.
sugar and water in a paste form put it on your face. Acne is bactieria and sugar naturally kill bacteria. Do it for like three days you may get more acne the first two days because it is pulling up the impurities in your skin. but then the ones you have will dry up and come out
This is what I suggest:

Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. These two things are very inexpensive and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.

Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored. But this is not recommended to everyone because it can make it worse.

Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. THey might not work for you, so try different products. Don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don't scrub too hard when you wash your face, because it can irritate your skin.

Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one or two tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don't pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars. Zinc can be found in many types of fishes.

If you have sensitive skin, don't use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands are full of bacteria and oils. Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.

An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water. Aloe vera helps acne scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.
Try adding cider vinegar to your diet. It helps cut grease. And it's good for you.
baking soda!
Baking soda. I know it sounds crazy but it really works. Try it now and thank me later.
water and bicarbonate of soda
Turmeric is an ingredient in products aimed @ acne-prone skin, for its antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties .

There's ongoing research as to its ability to help alzheimer patients as well.

Garlic also has antiseptic properties.

Not from your kitchen, but also helpful is neem.

Hope this helps, and that you will do your own research :)

All said, if nothing helps, you may need a course of antibiotics or tretinoin.

Consult your GP, then.
different things work on different peoples skin, you could try tea tree oil or lavender oil to calm the skin,

wash your face twice daily, keep your fringe and hair off your face as much as possible. also sleep with a towel wrapped around your pillow; to absorb any oils or grease from your face.

I liked the St ives apricot its very natural, smells good and gives a deep clean, if your not familiar with an expholiator be aware that some dont find it a pleasent experience(it doesnt hurt)

(you can make a similar mixture at home with oatmeal...

1 Cup Rose Petals

1 Cup Lavender Flowers

1 Cup Whole Oatmeal

1/2 Cup Chopped Almonds

%26amp;

Coffee Grinder, Food Processor or Blender

1. Grind together all the ingredients until the texture is quite fine. Store in an air tight container.

2. To use the scrub, rub a handful gently onto damp skin in small, circular motions. Allow it to dry on the skin for a minute or so, then rinse off.)

for me different products work at different times, i find witch hazel has generally been the best http://www.witchskincare.com/products.as鈥?/a> i use the foaming wash three times a day and the expholiating gel wash about three times a week (using it too often will make your skin more greay and prone to spots) and the witch stick is perfect for quick treatments to calm blemishes, i like to use this before i go to bed and leave it on over night.

as for scars, i dont get any deep scaring with witch! but i do like to use http://www.boots.com/shop/product_detail鈥?/a> no7 from boots, if you buy it at the right time you can save a lot of money (they have 3 for 2 atm!) and that covers any light scars and blemishes and it doesnt effect my skin, even if i forget to take it off at night!

i find the best was to prevent scars is to just avoid temptation to pop or touch the pimples, if you are tempted, try washing your face. i find it helps stop the urge! if you really feel that you have to, take a shower and let the steam open your pores, that should make it easier to pop and reduce scarring. if you have any aloe vera or tea tree oil this will also help.

*if a product burns your face STOP USING IT IMMEDIATLY!!!!

*TOOTHEPASTE does NOT work, it only burns and dries out the skin* it will just leave a red sore on your skin, making it more noticable! and leave scars

concealor will cover it but i always thinks that it makes spots more noticable so try not to use too much! also be aware that this could irritate the spot more!!!

good luck

-xXx-
you wont be able to treat acne at home. To kill bacteria which is in acne you will have to buy ointment containing benzoyl peroxide.
