Hey hun.

Ok i had acne for so long in life it wasn't funny. Still do.

Bad pimples like big, fully face covering etc can be treated with an acne pill prescrited by your doctors. although some side effects (dry ears etc) this can be a good quick fix.

First of all don't go onto the birthcontrol to control your acne. its tempting but will only do no-good to your body. and in a few years time when you come off it your body will go back down to the level of hormones you had been with. and you'll be older, with many pimples. Just let your body adjust to it first. when you get your period. then maybe you could consider it. but if you havent got your period yet... i'd suggest maybe your too young to think about the pil.

There are other means to controlling your pimples. i know its a big task but making sure you clean your face day and night with the '3 step' programs. wash, tone moisturise.

now, Toothpaste can be tempting. as it will dry up your pimples. but watch using it. if you get it onto your skin where you dont have a pimple it will clog and cause those nasty painful pimples. also will dry out those parts of your skin. Very fast way to grow up with dermatitus.

Best bet that ive tried are the natural ';tea tree'; range. they do the same as the toothpaste by drying it up but is not harmful to the rest of your skin and helps soak up oil.

If its cauzse your skin is oily, try keeping all hair tied back, to prevent oil build up, which clogs your pores more.

Avoid the sugery stuff more. its not proven as such that the sugar clogs you and gives you pimples but causes more oil to create these pains.

Good luck hun. i know its hard to deal with them. But when you start sticking to one set schedule they start going away. What is the best way to treat acne?
Lots of people use proactive but it really depends on the person. Sometimes using skin cleansers irritate your skin more and causes you to have another outbreak of acne. I use Avon and it has been the only thing that works for me without any skin irritations occurring. Find a local Avon representative and try using the overnight blemish treatment, invigorating cleaning scrub, and the purifying gel cleanser for normal to oily skin. If you use these things like the directions tells then your face will clear up in no time. Also, these this ar not expensive at all maybe $5 at the most and you can get them on sale sometimes. Good luck
it depends on how big and how much acne you have im a guy but for me toothpaste works for my acne... i don't recomend you using birthcontrol for ur acne...
