Over the centuries, many natural ways to get rid of acne and natural cures for acne have been documented.

These natural acne cures generally involve applying some form of fruit, vegetable, or herb to the affected areas. Included among these natural ways to get rid of acne are:

-Garlic applied to the affected area.

-A paste made of cucumbers.

-Mint oil or mint juice.

-Honey has a natural antimicrobial action and has been used among the natural cures for acne for a long time.

Some of the more modern of the natural ways to get rid of acne are toothpaste or oatmeal bath treatment, mixed into a paste and applied to the affected areas. Will this really work to treat acne?
Merry Meet jaymac91,

Sea Salt / Make a mild solution of sea salt and water, put it in a spray bottle then mist your face and let it dry for about 15min and then rinse with warm water, this will pull the impurities out of your skin and speed up healing then follow up with a light moisturizer.

hope this helps

Garlic applied to the affected area - Does work and eating one garlic clove everyday with food works as well.

Toothpaste applied on the skin would scald your skin, don't do it.

Also try having healthy and moderate diet.

No beef and pork or red meat or eggs.

No dairy and artificial form of sugar.

Not asking you to give up for rest of your life but till you see good improvment.

Rather than applying these fruits and vegetables on your face try eating them more often and make them a larger part of your daily diet along with 15-20 glasses of water.
it might work, but would you really want to mix that all the time. best thing to do is wash your fash twice a day and use a spf mositurizer(?) one that is best for you type of skin. i also find that using a mint julip mask once a week works too
I've used honey and mint masks and they work. cucumber is more of a de-puffer, and garlic would just stink. That's more for immunity boosting.
