Products like Noxema, Clean and clear, clearasil, proactiv, and neutragena. (all of which i have used to no success) So, should i just go natural and stick with soap?? is that really the answer? to simply clean my face like any other part of my body? or am i just picking the wrong products. tell me: soap or product. and why? and if product, which one do you recommend, :) thanksWhat is better to treat acne?? soap and water vs skin care products?
Well the thing with those products is some may have certain chemicals that your skin does not agree with. Try Serious Skin Care, it worked for me because it did not have the ingredient that most skin products do. http://www.seriousskincare.com/What is better to treat acne?? soap and water vs skin care products?
I used to have acne really bad and know how you feel. One day I was searching for acne cures and crap I found this website http://www.my-info-portal.com/acne/ haha( I bookmarked it lol )
Anyway I got the acne free product deal he recommends and my acne literally disappeared. It was crazy. The product i bought guaranteed it would cure your acne in 3 days or your money back. I think it's only like $25 or something
Anyway, I hope that helps :)

Most over the counter acne products aren't effective, this is because many contain oils which can actually make you skin worse. And regular soap can really dry out your skin which causes your skin to overproduce oil which in turn makes your acne worse. The best thing to do is to get a professional facial. They may be a little on the pricey side but they are definitely worth it. The technician will tell you all about your skin type and will customize a skin care plan for you. Even though they can get expensive, you can get a pretty good one for around $80, they are definitely worth it and will take care of your acne problems.
for me soap and water worked perectly i ude it everyday when i take a shower i dodnt think it would work but it helped alot more then skin cARE PRODUCTS
skin care products are better.
I agree with the first poster about generally not using soap and water. There are many products out there designed for a specific skin type, so look for one that matches yours. For oily skin, something like Clean and Clear often helps. I have normal skin with acne and I LOVE Target's version of Neutragena's Moisturizing Acne Treament. And for dry skin, something very moisturizing and gentle is usually necessary.
If you have very bad acne, talk to your doctor about seeing a dermatologist. They can help you find a product that will work for you.
Soap dries out the skin so thats not a great idea. Everyone has different skin types which means not everything works for the same person. Keep trying new things until you find the one that works for you.
