How should I treat baby acne?

This is my second baby and he's only 2 weeks old. I know you can't cure it and I hear that babies get it from their mother's hormones. I would like to know if there is some way to get rid of it faster or anything special I should be doing for them. How should I treat baby acne?
Leave him alone, for crying out loud! How should I treat baby acne?
don't do a thing other than the regular bathing. baby acne is normal and don't mess with it. don't try popping them and don't use adult products on him. it is VERY normal and will go away and come back on occasion. it doesn't hurt them and the worse thing about it is it just looks bad.
just leave it alone, it will go away on its own.

mommy of 2
Johnson %26amp; Johnson's baby bath bar. Not the body soap, just the regular old white little bath bar.

This should go away soon enough. My kids have had it, along with quite a few of my nieces %26amp; nephews.

I've always used Johnson %26amp; Johnson's. I have super sensitive skin, and so do my kids. It's the only one that I trust to be totally tear free, and gentle on the skin. Our pediatrician still recommends this for baby acne - and has never recommended anything but.
I have a 5 month old daughter and her's went away on it's own.
My daughter had them relly bad and my mother told me that it is normal. Dont touch them, wash her normally and just ignore them, they will clear up on their own in a couple of weeks, Don't worry many babies get them, it is perfectly normal.

Those two links explain and tell you everything you need to know about it.

Good Luck and stop worrying. I know it's hard, I took my baby to the hospital just to be sure and the nurse told be that any kind of rash is normal unless in has a purple color to it and it has blood coming out of it. Everything else is perfectly normal.
No just let it be because if you put oietment on it it may make him break out even more... it'll go away soon all new borns have that trust me! i know
For the most part leave it alone.

Also know that it can be cause by reactions to perfumes, lotions, pollutants in the air even fabric softener on your clothing. My niece breaks out if anyone with lipstick or lipgloss kisses her. Make sure that everyone washes their hands well before they come in contact with him or his things.

Just keep him well cleaned and let his skin do it's thing. It needs to adjust to the change in hormones as well as the new suroundings.
Leave it alone. It's normal and it goes away. You may cause scarring if you do anything to it.
Nope...just leave it alone to dry out and go away on its own. Don't goop it up with lotions, oils, creams, etc. because they will serve no purpose other than to irritate the acne. My younger son had it, and this is what my pediatrician told me to do. Infant acne isn't like teenage or adult acne that can be painful...it's not uncomfortable to them at all. Just leave it alone to dry out and it'll be gone before you know it. :)
Yes the pharmacist did tell me something to get for my baby i bought it and it really did work. Hang on let me find it.It's in the isles of albertsons with all the other lotions.
There is nothing you can do but keep the babies face clean by using a clean rag with warm water and wiping it keeping it clean,it will go away in a few weeks
Actually, newborns pores open the first couple months. Often it looks like little pimples or acne. Just keep him baby clean and it will resolve itself. Congrats!
there is nothing thta you can do the baby is too young the acne will go away
you should go to the store and get the exzma cream and apply it by direction on the bottle my niece has it and it is going away from that cream
no, there is nothing you are able to do. just leave him alone and he will have perfect little baby skin a week or two.
just leave them alone they will go away on there own. I had a Friend that actually popped them and now her sons face is scarred.
