What is the most effective way to treat acne?

my skin is not your worst case of acne but i still don't like ugly pimples zits and blackheads! really the only place i get it is on my chin, i can't keep the blackheads clear and i always have a pimple on my chin! please help! What is the most effective way to treat acne?
I started having really bad acne problems beginning when I was in college. I had acne on my back that was making me self-concious. I tried Proactiv, Zyporex, Oxycerin, and even the Asso Gold Cleaning Bar with dismal results. I wound up contacting a local dermatologist. After 3 months nearly all of my acne cleared up. I recommed you try calling a local dermatologist that can help. http://www.homeacnecare.comWhat is the most effective way to treat acne?
There is one thing that works really well for me. If I drink one bottle of spring water every 2 hours on average so that I basically pee clear all the time, and my acne goes away. The ';theory'; is that your body has a need to get rid of things it takes in and that happens by coming out (1) poo, (2) pee, (3) skin. So, the thinking is if you keep your pee clear then you are making sure to wash out all the toxins and then there is less of a need for anything to come out your face which the bacteria might decide to munch on and then clog up your pores. The best part is you can try it for a week for the cost of water =P. Let me know what happens.
Well, with the blackheads, here's what I recommend...

1. Take a hot shower and wash your face and hands with antibacterial soap. The hot shower will open up your pores nice and big.

2. When you get out, use two pieces of tissue paper to block your fingers from touching your skin directly. Squeeze out the blackheads.

3. Then with cotton pads, apply a salicylic acid or benzoyle peroxide to your pores. This will disinfect the pores that you squeezed the blackheads out of and seal them up with medicine. Let the medicine get soaked up by your skin for 5 minutes.

4. Splash freezing cold water on your face for a couple of minutes until you feel your pores close up. Pat dry with a towel so you don't wipe up ALL the medicine.

So basically this regimen will open up your pores to get the blackheads out and then shock them with medication to prevent recurrent breakouts. The cold water at the end will seal up your pores to make sure the medicine works its magic with no interuption from outside bacteria.

This totally cleared up my blackhead problem. I got the solution from the link here: http://www.natural-acne-control.com/how-鈥?/a>
I had the same problem, I used Clearasil which worked, but was a temporary solution. Then Neutrogena soap which was better. Then I went to the doctor for my physical and he looked at my face and prescribed something for me, it was BenzaClin (prescription only) One bottle was $30, I think, and was supposed to last about a month a start working in six weeks if I applied it two times everyday. I have been using it for about three weeks and I am not even halfway through the container. After about a week, I already see results and it looks much better.
i usually treat my acne naturally, i compress my acne with ice. i also usually wash my face with warm water every night before sleep.

after im doing such stuff for several days, my acne begin better and better

sorry for my english
