Does curdled breast milk help treat acne?

I have a wonderful 17 year old daughter named Joanna who's been suffering from moderate to severe acne for most of her teen years. I think I read somewhere that if she put curdled breast milk on her face, it would help kill the bacteria.

I think I read in an article in Family Circle that you leave a jar of breast milk on the kitchen counter for a few days until it starts to curdle. That way, the enzymes in the milk are able to develop (kind of like in petri dishes).

I haven't had a baby in years, so I'm not lactating, but one of my girlfriends down the street, Brenda, just had a baby girl. She said she'd be happy to help and offered to donate some of her milk.

I sent Joanna over this afternoon to Brenda's house with an applesauce jar to collect the milk. Has anyone else heard if this helps though?Does curdled breast milk help treat acne?

Curdled breast milk helps keep animals out of the garbage... perhaps you should put it there??? If that works, it should definitely scare the acne right off your daughter's face!
no, definite not true, have your daughter drink tons of water eat vegetables and fruits and stay away from fast food restaurants.

chin
yikes lmao
Wow...you sure do have some INTERESTING questions!!! But...I think the milk is better left for the babies...sorry! Besides...I don't think any sane adult would smear the spoiled milk from another womans boobs onto her face....then she would stink AND have acne!!!!! Just keepin it REALLLLL!!!!
No, but I hear it works well on hemorrhoids.
yuck, how about trying proactive or a trip to the dermatologist's office?
That would probably make it worse. Take her to a dermatologist. He'll prob prescribe her something to help heal from the inside and outside, like an antibiotic and retin A. In a few weeks her face will clear up.
that sounds like one of those urban myths.
Hi Anita, I haven't really heard of this and if you're not sure if this will really work, don't even let your daughter try it. Pimples and acne are really part of growing up, so she shouldn't think that this will run forever. But for the time being, what Joanna can do is clean her face with a medicated soap specifically made for treating acne, like acne aid. She may also want to try using Celeteque. And most importantly, she needs to visit a dermatologist so she prescribe a medicine for her. In fact, for severe cases of acne some people take oral medicine for it. Hope was able to help you a little.
Huh??? I have never heard of that.
